Worst experience of my life! I have been a patient of this Dr. for many years and do not feel all treatment options were disclosed until it was too late and required a tooth extraction. After my surgery I immediately developed a lymph node infection in neck and throat and was told it was a coincidence. I consulted my regular dentist and who informed me this could happen. I called several time and then ended up going on antibiotics. Now I have to wait and see if I can do an implant if I regenerate bone which is quite expensive even with insurance, which I feel could have been prevented or at least delayed. Also, Natasha, Fishbein's receptionist, was rude to me over the phone and in person and condensing as well during this traumatic time. When I has to come in for a visit due to the lymph node infection on a Sat. I brought my children and she was not nice to them as well. If you don't like your job it may be time for a change but please don't take it out on the patients. The other staff are quite nice and accommodating. I will be changing Dr's as a result of this experience and hope to find one that will work with me to save my teeth as long as possible. Just called Dr. Fishbein's office to pay ridiculously high balance from tooth extraction that could have been avoided and lovely Natasha rudely hung when call completed! Guess she still needs training in customer service. At least you are now fore warned, wish I was. I never have posted a message like this in the past but every time I feel the gaping hole in the back of my mouth that could have been avoided, I feel I need to warn the public.

my dentist had told me i needed a frenectomy, so when i found out i needed a periodontist, my sister recommended me to doctor Fishbein. i live in florida, but made a special trip up to new york just to see him. When he examined me, he said that i actually needed a gum graft instead to fix my problem. I was nervous since it sounded scary, but the procedure was so quick and painless, that I left with a smile on my face! He has such a comforting manner and im so glad that I had chosen him for my surgery. The front desk and his assistants were wonderful, and gave me all in information i needed post op. I would happily fly up to new york again for any periodontal work i ever need, and I will be recommending him to everyone i know. Doctor Fishbein and staff are worth the trip, five stars all around!

Glad Dr. Fishbein was recommended to me. I was very nervous and stressed out because I needed 5 teeth extracted. Dr. Fishbein and team calmed me down and the outcome was excellent.
